I was not able to watch the Game 2 of De La Salle and Ateneo in Araneta Coliseum yesterday because of an ever obvious reason, no ticket. Thus, I am denied of entry. Nonetheless, I watched the game live on Studio 23. I had to ready my afternoon snack - the sweet and spicy pancit canton and a glass of water - so that my viewing will not be disturbed.
I was so excited and nervous at the same time. Fifteen minutes before four, I opened the television to see how Ateneo players bagged many special awards. I was hoping that they would be distracted by that, but it was only effective in the first quarter.
Rabeh’s presence was not felt in the first quarter but a combat-ready team pushed down La Salle’s scoring. Chris Tiu had impressive shots and assists. On the second half, when Rico Maierhoffer and Jvee Casio were fouled out I was praying hard for a miracle. All we need is one more game.
